about
RECORDED AND ARRANGED 2019–2020
Post-produced band improvisations and electronic experiments
Demo / Album / Live / Mixtape
Documenting two years’ worth of crammed housebound recordings, from our first jam living together, all the way through to the throes of the coronavirus pandemic; SNUTCH is a (de/re)constructed celebration of collective noise, with all the mistakes left where they belong. Captured moments of us repeating ourselves until we've forgotten what we're playing have been cut-up, left alone, sped-up, feedback abused, overdubbed, looped, and layered; until nothing remains but the eternally unintended.
We would have liked to have been able to bring you this music in person, who knows maybe it will happen someday soon. In the meanwhile, we hope this record scratches some kind of itch.
Special thanks to everyone who helped bring this album to life, especially the lovely people featured within these recordings who may or may not know they are amongst the ruckus. And to our neighbors, sorry for all the noise. It was all necessary.
Naivety Over Virtuosity. Process/Protest/Progress.
