Comments on the Albums of 2005:

have remagined many things for this year, except the fierce and beating return of After Forever. Gothic Rock fans have been fully delighted. Playing the Angel was a longed tone from Depeche Mode, a precious revelation from their electronic base. But it all began with Mortal Love. Their lost was a major gain to our ears and feelings. It is a lovable voice from a complete gothic band. ButQntal came from a different rose. They are made for all dreamers to listen and rejoice. They made songs to be remembered. And this year will also be remembered by the strange return of the Fields of the Nephilim. FOTN are as good as before, or maybe just as before. The silence in their music broke all sound limits.

Precious
Precious and fragile things
Need special handling
My God, what have we done to you?
We always tried to share
The tenderest of care
Now look what we have put you through
Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give
Angels with silver wings
Shouldn't know suffering
I wish I could take the pain for you
If God has a master plan
That only He understands
I hope it's your eyes He's seeing through
Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give
I pray you learn to trust
Have faith in both of us
And keep room in your hearts for two
Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give
